Description
The STIHL RM 650 VE petrol lawn mower combines modern technologies in one model, which starts work immediately at the press of a button thanks to an electric start function. With its Vario self-propulsion, you can also adapt the speed of the drive to the terrain and the grass to be mown. The engine speed of the powerful engine even remains stable when the propulsion speed changes. The STIHL RM 650 VE features a cutting width of 48 cm and is therefore ideal for the care of large lawns. Thanks to its versatile multi-blade, you can choose at any time whether you want to collect the grass in the fold-open grass catcher box or use the mower for mulching. The cutting height of the blade can be adjusted to the desired height between 25 and 85 cm in steps. The lawn mower's practical mono-comfort handlebar can be quickly and simply adapted to your working height. Its foldable handlebar facilitates both removal of the 70-litre grass catcher box for emptying, as well as space-saving storage of the lawn mower when work is complete.

InStart system

Vario self-propulsion
The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the STIHL lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.

Mulching function
During mulching, the mulching blade shreds the mown grass before it falls back into the turf as a nutritional fertiliser. And with the appropriate mulching kit available as an optional accessory for this lawn mower, the machine can also be converted into a Multi-mower.

Multi-blade
Thanks to the specially shaped cutting blades, the multi-blade of the STIHL petrol lawn mower shreds the mown grass. When using the grass catcher box, it is then efficiently conveyed in the box. During mulch mowing, the mown grass is directly ejected onto the lawn so that it falls back onto the turf as a nutritional fertiliser.

Fold-open grass catcher box with level indicator
The plastic grass catcher box can be easily opened and emptied thanks to its folding mechanism. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures a high degree of filling. Thanks to the downward-facing vanes, the air is guided sideways towards the ground, preventing dirt from being thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying.

The easy-running wheels of the STIHL lawn mowers are extremely robust and hard-wearing. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and perfect line holding during mowing.
